Grove Bay Grill
by Lucy Scannone
If you are thinking about having a perfect lunch or dinner at an oceanfront restaurant, without breaking the bank, I recommend you to relax at the beautiful and fascinating terrace of the Grove Bay Grill in Coconut Grove Bay.
Former Scotty, an iconic and established place in Florida, is now the Grove Bay Grill, a space where to take a breath with the best Oceanfront view in Miami. You don’t have to travel long distances to find a variety of cold microbrews.
They offer a friendly service, a casual atmosphere, and live music on weekends by a local band. Grove Bay is a huge room like a sort of warehouse. Its bar is diverse not only because of its dimension and smiles, but the varied array of drinks, cocktails, and snacks you can have.
The menu has many choices, but you can’t miss the steamed mussels with a spicy touch, the trio of fish or shrimp tacos seasoned with tomatoes, onions, and guacamole, shrimp cocktails with pink sauce, seasonal crab, shrimp ceviche, and the glorious village burger.
The place looks roomy, and you can go with the whole family, also your pet, because this place is dog-friendly.
After the meal, you can take a walk by the bay, look at the boats, the colors of the sunset and find out the paradise that is waiting for you in Miami. Cheers!
