Shipwreck

“I peered out many times a day and saw, and felt that I should “keep” those images forever, for no reason.
I knew I belonged to the same boat, that looking out the window the fallen sails now like rags, was like attending a common shipwreck. At times, I understood that I sank like everybody, Some times, I tried to think that my camera would save me by making me just a witness, but it did not work, the water always came in.

But also images that showed how to resist came in: the rags ordered by color, the kids’ clothes…”
